The Lumina Motorized Wheelchair combines features to meet the user’s various needs, offering simple solutions, such as Swing Away footrests for greater autonomy and a folding backrest to take up less space during transportation. It is ideal for planned indoor and outdoor environments and can be the solution for an easier day-to-day life with a better quality of life.

It has caster adjustment (adjustment of the front wheel rotation), tilt adjustment (adjustment of the seat and backrest inclination) and center of gravity adjustment (adjustment of the axle in relation to the chair’s center of gravity). These modifications help to make the product increasingly adapted to the user, providing greater comfort, safety and postural adaptation.

Chassis

The Freedom Lumina duralumin wheelchair has three chassis size options, “S”, “M” and “G”. The chassis size ensures the best adaptation to the user’s height. The sizes are suitable for people up to 1.40m (S), from 1.40 to 1.85m (M), and over 1.85m (L).

Weight capacity of up to 130 kg. With the optional double X, the weight capacity increases to 160 kg.

Its chassis is made of duralumin, which is a light and resistant material that naturally does not present corrosion problems.

Its X-shaped closure with a folding backrest significantly reduces the size of the chair, making storage and transportation easy.

Features

The Lumina Lightweight Motorized Wheelchair has articulated, adjustable and removable armrests with expanded polyurethane cushions.

Lumina also has Swing Away footrests with height adjustments. This configuration is a practical way to completely remove the pedals from the chair, facilitating transfers. Its joystick is foldable, making it easier to move closer to furniture. The headrest has several height, depth and proximity adjustments, ensuring comfort and optimal fit.

Its rear wheels are 13” rims and can be inflatable or solid, while the front wheels are 8” rims with inflatable or solid tires.

Its backrest is made of an anatomical cushion and seat with cushion, with durable and waterproof fabrics, making hygiene much easier, and it also has an articulated headrest.

The battery may vary depending on the size of the chair and the user’s needs. Freedom batteries are dry batteries, which do not pose a risk of leaking and can be transported on airplanes.
