Using a free and intuitive graphic tool available on the Freedom website, it is possible to configure parameters such as acceleration, braking, sensitivity and speed, in addition to activating special features to better adapt the wheelchair.
The technology also makes it possible to send diagnostics directly to Freedom’s technical support, providing fast and efficient service whenever necessary.
Chairs with Freedom Connect technology have two intelligent modules that work together to ensure safety and efficiency.
The first module, on the joystick panel, facilitates interaction and allows online connection.
The second controls motors, brakes and batteries, offering reliable performance. Both perform constant self-diagnosis and, in the event of anomalies, automatically block the chair for the user’s safety. Errors are indicated by simple codes on the panel, facilitating diagnosis.
Incidents are recorded in the modules’ internal memory and can be easily accessed via the Freedom Connect software, simplifying diagnostics and technical support for the product.
The joystick combines a modern, compact design with ergonomic support, ensuring safety and comfort when operating the wheelchair. Its silicone keyboard offers soft touches and easy navigation to access various functions.
The modules also apply parameters that determine the chair’s performance and behavior. Communication between them uses a three-layer protocol based on the CAN bus, the same reliable technology used in the automotive sector.
TORQUE+ MODE
Special mode with exclusive Freedom technology that, when activated, releases more power to the engines. Especially recommended for heavier customers or those who travel on many ramps.
REVERSE MODE
A special mode that software-inverts the direction of the joystick’s forward-reverse axis, allowing the user to accelerate the chair forward by pulling the stick instead of pushing it.
TURBO TIMER
Mode that sets a TURBO mode timer so that it is only used for a short period of time, reducing consumption and improving battery life.
REMOTELY SENDING REPORTS
Through an internet connection, users can send reports to Freedom technical support from anywhere.
