Thank you for downloading and installing the Freedom Connect software. To use the Freedom Connect software, you must accept the terms described below.
This is a legal agreement between the licensee (individual or legal entity) referred to as LICENSEE and Freedom Veículos Elétricos LTDA, a private legal entity, of a technical nature, registered with CNPJ no. 94.132.024/0001-48, headquartered at Rua Conde de Porto Alegre, 155, Bairro Centro, CEP 96015-710, in Pelotas-RS, hereinafter referred to as Freedom, for the use of the software called Freedom Connect, made available hereby by Freedom, under the following clauses and conditions.
1. USE OF THE SOFTWARE
In these Terms and Conditions, Freedom grants the user a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the Freedom Connect software distributed over the internet and available to users of products compatible with it. This license may be terminated as set forth in these Terms and Conditions. In the event of disagreement with the terms presented herein, use of the SOFTWARE must be immediately discontinued.
2. DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE
The LICENSEE declares to be aware of the rights and obligations arising from these terms of use, which constitute the complete agreement between the parties. He/she also declares to have read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions.
3. PRIVACY POLICY
The LICENSOR expressly authorizes Freedom to automatically collect and use information obtained from communication between Freedom Connect installed on the computer and the customer’s product. This information will be used for the purposes of diagnosing problems or misuse, studies, improvements and preventive or corrective maintenance of the product.
The information collected by Freedom may be stored and processed on the company’s servers. Therefore, by using Freedom Connect, the user consents to such information being transferred from his/her computer to Freedom. You acknowledge and agree that Freedom may access, preserve, and disclose information related to your product when required to do so by legal authorities or when we have a good faith belief that such access, preservation, or disclosure is necessary to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) detect, prevent, or otherwise address technical issues; (c) respond to your support requests.
4. UPDATES
The Software may periodically communicate with Freedom’s servers to check for available updates. By installing the Software, you agree to request and receive information about Software Updates.
5. JURISDICTION
The PARTIES elect the Court of the city of Pelotas – RS, as the sole competent court to resolve any doubts or controversies arising from this Agreement.
